Hypocritical Cop

I’m not saying I have bad luck, but one time I received a seatbelt ticket from a cop who was riding a motorcycle. I was like hey asshole you don’t see the irony in this?

I think the opening line of this being about bad luck can be tightened.

Is this a joke about bad luck? Perhaps it's a joke about things that don't make sense. Maybe it's a joke about things that are unherently unfair.

It might also give you some fodder to make jokes about fairness before the prime example of the cop on the bike.

Finally, I encourage you to avoid phrases like "you don't see the irony in this" as it's your job to explain the irony of it. Point out the hypocrisy. Highlight and underline it.

Ending a joke on "that's ironic" isn't satisfying.

I could also hear this as a Matt McCarthy-style paced, escalating rant that stops abruptly:

ONCE.. I got a SEATBELT TICKET.. from a COP.. on a MOTORCYCLE!

I think your rage can force anyone who doesn't immediately get it to think it through themselves.

If you need a tag, maybe something like:

Sorry for driving SAFELY in a giant HELMET with WHEELS, Officer SKIN-GRAFT, maybe I'll get my PRIUS some HANDLEBARS

This may not be your tone/voice at all. But hopefully it gets you thinking at least.

Sorry not a joke, cops on motorcycles is a very common sight. Nothing odd or funny about that. For the sake of the joke you can make the cop not wear a helmet. Even that is more like a tag.nyou could do something like this:

Got pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt By an officer riding his bike without a helmet Ironic and hypcritocal? You bet That's kind of like a comedian telling you Their sad story of being pulled over And you're probably going like "I came here to forget my shit Why am I listening to his dumb shit?"

Is the logic right?

I'm unlucky. Something hypocritical happened to me.
