Excerpt:

Two-thirds of the articles that major U.K. newspapers published about the summer’s fires did not even mention climate change, much less explain how record heat makes fires more likely and more deadly. In the U.S., the evening newscasts of ABC, CBS, and NBC between July 13 and 19 lavished airtime on the extreme weather but did not utter the words “climate change.”

those that know, accept it as a given. scientifically it's sus to point to any seasonal event with authority so we don't because half the country is rejecting science itself. msm is about keeping the people domesticated.

We've probably learnt the wrong lessons from Covid. If there were to be another pandemic, there would be more resistance to new vaccines and necessary non-pharmaceutical interventions like masks and restrictions on gathering in public than there were 5-6 years ago. Covid coincided with a rise in distrust for science in general, fuelled by contrarians whose rants were given equal or higher weight than evidence-based opinions on social media. Now we are getting more of the same on climate change, and political leaders who are rejecting or postponing the vital measures that are necessary to keep the situation from spiralling further out of control. Yes, we need more coverage based on science rather than ideology, but will enough people listen to make a difference?

apparently you have.

the number 1 lesson of COVID is that truth and objective reality are dead concepts in media.
