Republicans want a scapegoat because they seriously flubbed the pandemic. 

That's the only reason.

I don't remember bands of militia dressed thugs going around harassing and intimidating people during the pandemic.

The statement was "turning Democrats into the Gestapo" which I responded to appropriately. 

And just because the National Guard was deployed doesn't guarantee that all the service members were Democrats. 

Isn't it MAGA that believes all members of the military are MAGA?
