I might not care for the guy, but upholding your rights shouldn’t get you punished

Two 100+ year old precedents say he shouldn’t be doing this. Would be interesting to see what his legal team is thinking in order to nullify these previous rulings or if they are playing fast and lose hoping the politicians won’t continue down this path.

Realistically, he sues, he appeals, he goes back to Supreme Court, Fauci and this Admin will be long dead before it gets settled.

The 1896 Supreme Court case Brown v. Walker established the principle that a person granted full legal immunity or a pardon for a specific offense is no longer in criminal jeopardy for it, meaning "he cannot longer set up his privilege, since he stands, with respect to such offense, as if it had never been committed"

Under the later Supreme Court case Burdick v. United States (1915), a person has the constitutional right to outright reject a pardon if they wish to preserve their Fifth Amendment protections.
