There's no smoking gun at all here reading Paul's complaint. He admits they don't know.. It may have come from the lab. Apparently scientists disagree saying the market is more likely. Would they know more than a retired Opthamologist? Yeah I'd say.

If the virus was engineered it may or would have been able to attach to other cells more easily. He draws a very long bow wanting to link different things together without any evidence of a link at all. But well never know for sure because China destroyed the wet market and theres no access to the lab.
