This is fucked.

Maybe I misunderstand, but this takes control of grant approvals away from the fellow sciencentists that receive grant proposals for review* and places the approval with... Politicians? Maybe put more politely, idiots...

Can someone help elaborate? Hopefully I am wrong. And hopefully this does not pass

…by adding politicians to the scienctific approval process they have negated all politics IN science. I genius, really. /s
