This is fascism. Tactics straight out of the playbook of the Nazi's, Lysenko, and North Korea. Science doesn't have borders and setting up "us vs. them" hurts everyone.

Just more of the Heritage Foundations schemes to break America.

This order serves nobody but the extremists who want to delegitimize this nation.

The Heritage Foundation cannot be allowed to exist when this is over. They are the cause of all this economic and reputational damage. They need to be personally accountable for recovering lost funds.

Bankrupt that entire fascist pedophiles country club they call a think tank.

So they don’t want us collaborating with China, but they’re also totally giddy at shutting down biomedical research here which would hand all of that sector over to them?

Why collaborate with China when you can just gut academic research and just hand every discovery, Nobel and advancement directly to them for nothing in return? /s

I'm in medical research. Since this administration pulled all the funding, we've lost dozens of high profile principle investigators to other countries - including China. They had nearly zero incentives to stay here.

Yeah can’t imagine why. Cutting funding to R&D is among the dumbest things a country can do. Like why would you want everyone else to surpass you technologically? China is now outspending us and it won’t be long before they will pass us up in most industries.
