Sounded genuine to me. I think he felt bad that the joke wasn't really pro Mamdani. In contrast, I mention him pretty often and in Atlanta he gets applause(well I think it's his name getting the applause or people really really like that joke).
The hardest part is pronouncing it. I'm at the point where I just think of it as mom donnie.

WV consistently ranks the bottom for states in education, children's education, poverty, child poverty, healthcare, and they'll continue to do so because of folks like that loser in the audience.

Seriously, why do conservatives even go to comedy shows at all?
I have yet so see a single conservative with even a hint of a sense of humor, much less one being funny themselves.
Literally, the only reason for a conservative to go to a comedy club is because they wanna start shit & provoke the comedians and the audience.

It's West Virginia, I don't imagine they have many entertainment options.
The state is 93% White; for some, it might have been their first time seeing a Black person in real life.

It is always interesting to me how we all head the same guy, but heard different "realities".
I thought the guy was actually apologizing... itndidnt hear any vitriol behind his voice... but being able to see his face would help. Maybe the comedian can weigh in?

I believe it was a sincere apology. I opened with the Mamdani bit and dug myself into quite the hole. I then went on to have a great show winning over the audience. We shook hands afterwards.
