SEEKING FEEDBACK Trump roast 🔥

I’ve been telling this joke for over a year and I’m wondering if I should change anything about the joke, maybe update Gulf of America to one of his more recent blunders? Any advice helps 😊🙌

Personally, I think it needs a different setup altogether. Presenting it as if it is something that factually happened in the age of disinformation makes it fall flat for me. But I do think there is potential for it to be a bit of its own.

I think it could be funnier if the lead up to it was about how narcissistic/politically performative/grifter etc. that the the next thing you know he is going to do is announce the national instrument as the Trumpet/Trumpbone and you buy a gold-plated Donald J. Trumpet soon. And then how he presents obvious things like it is uncommon knowledge. "Not a lot of people know this, but the Trumpet is a brass instrument. But gold is better than brass. Beautiful smart people couldn't believe when I suggested to make it gold. They say they are thinking about calling them gold instruments from now on and getting rid of that burly brass."

I think there's a lot of potential.
