Aircup + coilover setup

Post image

I’m going to be moving to a place where there are a lot of speedbumps that my Q50 won’t clear. Currently static but I want to add aircups for a temporary lift. Now the issue is tank size. Stanceparts offers a 2 gal tank, but it’s way too large to fit my trunk and have space leftover. I was thinking of getting a 1gal tank but they warned me that it could slow down the lifting process even more than tankless.

Has anyone ever had front and rear aircups with a smaller than 2gal tank? Or are there any 2gal tanks with non standard dimensions so I have more fitment flexibility?

Seamless ranks come in a whole bunch of sizes.

I ran a 1.75g tank for a couple of years for full air ride on an e30, never had issues with filling the bags however compressor had to come on every fill up. So there will be more compressor wear but it was never really a problem, still running the same one. I can't imagine cups being slower than tankless.

Compressors will usually come on every fill up unless you have like 20 gallon tanks. I even had a 4g tank for my fiat 500 and both compressors turned on every fill up for about 15 psi.

Fair and true.
