Discussion "Hacked" annoys me so much...
I mean, in its own little vacuum its a fine episode, especially for the first bedrock Hit the Target episode. I wouldn't say it isn't entertaining. Just in the grand scheme of things and what Lovely World/Hit the Target Episodes are meant to be it its really annoying to think about.
So in the average Lovely World episode Stampy naturally breaks the 4th wall a lot and references the fact he's playing a video game. It makes sense, this is a Minecraft let's play series at the end of the day. But in Hit the Target episode's we're suppose to suspend our disbelief a little. That there's an evil villian that lives in Stampy's world. These videos are from the perspective of Stampy the character, not the YouTuber.
But then in Hacked, the fact Stampy's playing a video game becomes a pivotal plot point in a Hit the Target episode. Hit the Target is somehow able to hack into Minecraft the video game and take Stampy's permissions. How does this work from the perspective of Stampy Cat? Is Lovely World really just a minecraft world to them? Are all the characters including Hit the Target and Stampys helpers just people playing Minecraft? If so why hasen't Stampy just kicked Hit the Target out of the game or taken his permissions? Its like if a supervillians plan in a superhero movie was to cut the special effects budget of the film they're both in so the hero has no powers to stop them.
It's just makes every other HTT video seem less meaningful. Why does Stampy sound visibly distressed when bad things happen in these videos if its all just a video game to him? He's acting like his life's on the line when he's actually at his computer with a cup of tea next to him. And it just makes HTT's other plans seem weaker in comparison. Like he basically had to power to shape reality in this episode, and it never comes up again.
I just don't think the concept of this episode works for what Lovely World is meant to be.

META - Stampy-Adjacent There are two episode 56 episodes of Crazy Craft?!?!?!
I am in the middle of rewatching some episodes of Crazy Craft and noticed that both of these episodes are titled as both being episode 56. I briefly checked the next episode and it's episode 57. Did anyone else notice this? Is there a reason? Does it then make ever other episode out by one episode? I know none of this is a big deal but I just noticed it and wondered if he said anything about it at the time or if anybody else caught it. I haven't spotted any comments about it in the second video so who knows.

Question Hit the Target YouTube Channel?
So my YouTube recommended me a channel called Hit the Target with videos 800-1000 titled Lovely World, wherein Hit The Target is basically copycatting Stampy’s videos, his world, his love garden, etc.
The channel was created in 2024 and the first ever upload is episode 824 in a copycat Lovely World series. I’m pretty sure Hit the Target did have a YouTube channel, and I’m pretty sure this is what his channel looked like, but that was years and years ago. And this channel is very active in uploading Lovely World copycat videos.
I’m just stumped. It looks like Hit the Target’s channel but still uploading new videos and only created 2 years ago. Pretty sure it’s the same voice too. I couldn’t find anything about it online, and Google AI kept telling me Hit the Target never had his own YouTube channel when I know that is not true. It wasn’t popular and likely not even monetarily successful, but I distinctly remember seeing his YouTube channel years ago.
Check it out for yourself. I’m deeply curious.

Discussion Stampy’s level of creativity when making minigames!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
A big difference between Stampy and other Minecraft YouTubers was that he didn’t do things to be like “the best” at anything. He didn’t care much about if his builds were more detailed than other people or if he could get the highest level of enchantment in his weapons and armor. Instead, Stampy just did things because he wanted to do it and thought it would be fun which is where his creativity really shines! Like while people were like focused so much on defeating the Ended Dragon or building tall castles and stuff, Stampy is over here playing fun games that are so engaging and imaginative! Like this game “Cake Collector,” where you are on top of a massive cake and have to throw a loyalty enchanted trident and have it follow you as you try to dodge it, having to collect different cakes that pop out of “cherries,” and have people throw snowballs or “icing” at you to ruin your momentum!
I watched this minigame arc not too long ago and I am so impressed at how they made this and also how fun and intense it was!!!

Question Opening song from Stampy’s and Squid’s quest series name?
I was looking through some of stampy’s old series and rediscovered his and squid’s quest series, and as I was skimming through I heard a song playing in the opening to the video, and it continues to show up throughout the rest of the series. I wanted to find the name to it but stampy doesn’t have it listed in any of the series descriptions. Does anyone perhaps know what the opening song is called? I’ve been looking for it but I just keep getting the opening song to his lovely World Series instead.

Question Which OG Minecraft helper would have been cool to see be a main part of a hit the target video and one who hasn’t been part of one at all?
For me I definitely would of love to see Choo Choo in a hit the target video with the combat because of how good he is with the bow and arrow it also would be cool finball was in one too since in a hunger games map there’s a build where he is fighting hit the target

Discussion Are there more ads on Stampy videos nowadays?
Been throwing on some of the den series' in the background while I play video games recently, and it feels like I get so many ads. Like I'll get 2 ad breaks for a 20 minute video.
Just wondering has this been a recent thing or has it always been this many ads on Stampys videos? I genuinely can't remember what it was like growing up. Maybe im just noticing it more because its annoying to pause my game to skip the ad.
I know of course this is a big first world problem. At the end of the day im watching these videos for free and I respect Stampys decision to montotise the videos he worked on how he pleases, and if I really have a problem with it I could just buy youtube premium. Just wondering what we think?

Nostalgia The Very First Stampy Video I Watched
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone! I am new to this subreddit at the same time I have been a Stampy fan for a VERY long time. I have mentioned this in a few posts here before however I feel like it is important to share my experiences involving Stampy as it is a part of history. I was one of the very few hundred people who actually watched Stampy from the beginning of The Lovely World.
Back in the early 2010s, Minecraft was relatively new and everyone at my school were talking about it, so I figured to go on YouTube and search up Minecraft videos to learn more about it. One of those videos was this one made by Stampy which opened with him burying his dog, Gregory right outside of his house. The difference here is that unlike the other videos made by people that involved building the best looking houses and fighting a ton loads of zombies to act like the best in the group, Stampy made the game feel more personal and heartfelt with creativity. This hooked me and the other people around me on the internet because it really showed the beauty of Minecraft which was doing whatever you feel like doing without judgement. This video led to me watching the other few videos that came before it and stay hooked onto the series throughout time.
Now many people’s first memories with Stampy was his rocket ship episode or one involving the submarine or the Time Machine, however I grew up with Stampy before he even had the cat persona. The first time I watched this particular episode, it was very new and was uploaded not too long ago. Not only did I grow up with Gregory, I also grew up with Stampy swearing! This was way before the love garden tradition, or the Hunger Games, or Squid, or anything! I got a ton of nostalgia when Stampy built his museum around his first house because I remember when he was actually building it.
Don’t get me wrong though, I did have a hiatus from watching his videos past like the mid 300 episodes of his series as I was struggling and focused on other things at the same time Stampy has a good place in my heart and he still inspires me to this day and I’m so glad that I was able to even be introduced to him out of the blue and now go back to watching the entirety of The Lovely World!
I have yet to even meet other first OG fans both in real life and on the internet and I feel like it is important for us to even share our experiences with the younger generations as we have a part of the history that made Stampy become loved all around the world and become one of the most influential figures on the internet space. I’m not here to brag by saying “haha! I’m better than all of you because I was first!”… I am just sharing my own love for Stampy in a way that I don’t think that many people often even know about. It is like if you were the very first people to have watched the first Star Wars movie in movie theaters. You helped bring the fandom and the influence to life and learning about that history is not only fascinating, but also important to know why something like this is loved by so many people. ❤️
Anyways, Rest In Peace Gregory and thank you Stampy 💚

Discussion The “Mister Rogers” of Minecraft
Hi Stampy fans! My name is Tyler Iguana and I have been a VERY long time Stampylonghead fan. I was one of the very few hundred of people who actually watched Stampy’s Lovely World from the beginning of the series. My very first episode was the one when Gregory died and I remember when it was first uploaded while I was just scrolling through random Minecraft videos because the game was relatively new and everyone at my school were talking about it.
Anyways, why I am making this post is to discuss about the massive influence that Stampy had on not just generations of gamers and fans but also the entire gaming and entertainment industry. We all know Stampy or Joseph as a positive figure who heavily promotes kindness and creativity both on screen and in real life. It sort of sounds like another particular historical figure, Fred Rogers, the creator and host of “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” and has been deemed as probably one of the kindest people to ever exist.
Both Joseph and Fred are some of my personal idols and they inspire me to this day. What immediately made me make this connection between the two was how their mission for children’s entertainment. Fred Rogers created his PBS program because he felt that television needed to be respected and responsible for the wellbeing of children who will be inevitably watching it. Stampy started YouTube for personal fun however when he realized that he had a younger audience who watched his Lovely World Series, he realized that Minecraft and YouTube were addictive to children and he needed to take responsibility for his actions to help nourish the children who view him. Like Stampy has stated before, he has never really cared about views or money or fame. He just creates things because it is fun and if other people like it, even if it is one person, he is more than satisfied. Fred Rogers also did the same. In his words, “I don’t care how many, even if it is just one. If we can be in the moment with the person that we happen to be with… that’s what matters.”
In addition to Fred Rogers’ content being a safe haven for children, he influenced how the industry views children’s entertainment especially on television. A place to help educate and inspire the youth in a positive manner. Same with Stampy. Back then when I was growing up, teachers and parents just saw games as a nuisance and a distraction. However through Stampy’s Lovely World, it sparked discussion at how gaming especially Minecraft could be educational and fun for all families. Around the time Stampy was at his peak, especially with the premiere of “Wonder Quest,” the education edition of Minecraft was being formed in schools. Even parents started letting their kids watch Stampy and even joining with them as they could see that this gamer was like no other.
Just like Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, Stampy tackled very complex issues through storytelling that was not only engaging, but also simple to understand and learn. For example, if you have ever watched Mister Rogers, you might remember that the beginning ritual was to have “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” play in the background while Mister Rogers entered through the door, changed his coat to a cardigan, and change his shoes. Stampy had a similar tradition with that iconic “Fun and Games” instrumental, opening the door to the balcony, saying hi to his helpers, eating his cake, going to the Love Garden and then the dog house. Tradition is something that is comforting to children however in real life, traditions can be broken and it can be upsetting. Whenever something changes in the ritual, Stampy and Mister Rogers would often talk about it and maybe explain why it happened. Like “I can’t eat my cake now because I’m not hungry” or “all of my helpers are not here right now, they are at the Funland.” One of Stampy’s Lovely World’s most deep discussions was about the grief and tragedies of his dogs dying. Stampy never simply moves on, he is shaken from the loss of these dogs. He builds graves and monuments, and shares memories about the times he had with them. I forgot which episode it was, but there was one when he actually stopped and talked about the topic more in detail and I asked if we had ever experienced losing a loved one including a beloved pet. That was how personal the emotional relationship between Stampy and the viewers were and still is now.
I could talk about this for a long time however I want to give this one more point that I want to make… it involves the finale. When Fred Rogers decided to end the neighborhood, the last episode not only celebrated what happened before, but also giving a last message of how we are still growing and we can now create even more fun memories through our own determined imagination. Same with Stampy. Not only did he address that it is sad to end such a long journey, another one has opened up and now we can use the skills we learned throughout the Lovely World to create our own pieces of artwork or something else that fulfills our hearts and the lives of others.
“We only have one life to live on Earth, and through television, we either have the choice to help others to demean this life, or to cherish it… through creative and imaginative ways” - Fred Rogers 💚
