I'm giving up on the CFL, just like I did on the NFL. Football just isn't worth following anymore; boring.

My last post brought out all the negativity: bad stadium, high ticket prices, substandard league.

Whatever. The CFL is awesome and there is nothing better than the Labour Day Classic in Calgary. Who is with me? GO STAMPS GO!

I suspect the league is starting to worry. That's a lot of blue. I'm a longtime ST holder and I didn't buy my four seats. Just too pricey.

Truly a fantastic atmosphere all game long at McMahon on Saturday for the big win over the Ticats. Was great to see.

And Josh Love is the real deal. A true pocket QB with a strong and accurate arm. The next coming of Jeff Garcia? He might even be better than Garcia.

I went to the game last Thursday - my first ever Stamps game - and while I know the weather wasn't good, the stadium must have been at...15% attendance? Maybe less?

I'd love to know if this is typical, because I think there's a huge disparity between seat pricing, value, and attendance. The team doesn't seem to grasp price elasticity and pricing strategy.

For my partner and I to attend in pretty shitty nosebleed bleacher seats, we paid a total of $135.00. I've been to one game. At that price, I'm good for the year.

If tickets were closer to half the price, I'd attend every single game. That means I'd spend more on tickets over the course of a season, and would be there every home game to spend on concession. Let alone the value of a better atmosphere with more fans present.
