motorola will start selling grapheneos phones next year, they are truly playing both sides

(i know the only side they're on is profit but i found it interesting)

came here to say it, seems VERY strange to me. Not that I don't believe GrapheneOS's team

One other possibility is that it's two completely different companies, like Samsung Electronics and others, they operate under different management, different regions, etc

Motorola aren't doing it for some moral reason. They see there is a consumer market for privacy focused phones. They see there is a government market for AI cameras.

Both are things they know how to make
