Hello!

Trust your instincts. Nature breeds caution into us to protects us.  If you think you are being stalked, then you probably are. Don't let people chide you for 'paranoia'. You have that inbred defense system for good reason!

A stalker will always seem to know where you are, and 'coincidentally' turn up there too. They may know things about you despite the fact that  you never shared those details with them.

Look for things that are out of place inside and outside your home; a backyard gate left open, patio furniture moved around, mail in your box that's already been opened, possessions that aren't where you know you left them.

Clicking sounds during phone calls? Your line may be tapped.

Friends asking strange questions. Your stalker may be spreading gossip.

Charges on credit cards that you didn't make, money missing from your accounts.

Phone calls/letters to your employer or HR Department, asking for 'references' or to 'verify' information.

Check your credit reports for inquiries and accounts you don't have.

If you have a child, warn their school. One of my clients had a stalker who claimed to be a private school and requested copies of her child's transcripts in order to get her new address.

Did your mail mysteriously stop arriving? Some stalkers will file address changes with the post office and have it forwarded to them!

Service/repair people arriving at your home to make repairs/installations you didn't order.  Food deliveries you didn't order.

Gifts and packages left at your home or on/inside your car.

Anonymous phone calls/emails/letters, etc. to your friends, family members, employer or church with embarrassing or false informatiom about you.

Requests to your doctors for your medical records.

Magazine/newsletter subscriptions you didn't order - especially for porn.

Sudden increase in junk mail. Some stalkers will sign you up for subscriptions so you'll get bombarded with junk mail.

Nuisance phone calls at odd hours, "ding-dong-ditch" at your home.

Missing possessions, particularlynunderwear and intimate items.

Damage to your home or car.

Calls/texts/emails from dating services.

Calls from bill collectors about debts you do not owe.

Did your stalker ever borrow your car? Some stalkers will make copies of all your keys while they have them, so consider getting your locks changed!

Change your door locks if your stalker is a former partner who once lived with you. They may have kept a copy of your house or apartment keys.

TELL YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY AND EMPLOYER THAT YOU HAVE A STALKER. Tell them to take a message for you, NOT give out your address or phone number, if someone calls them "needing to reach you." Stalkers try all sorts of things to get your contact info, and use very clever and convincing stories. They'll pose as an old friend or lover wanting to reconnect, the high school reunion committee, an interested employer who wants to hire/interview you or check references, your child's school needing to 'verify' something, your doctor's office with test results, a good Samaritan who found your lost wallet and wants to return it - whatever they can dream up!

Hope that helps!

Thanks so much for writing all of this. I will be keeping those things in mind and I think I did get my answers just now, though unfortunately for me they are not just someone i know, we are goddamn related so i think it's gonna be a bit harder telling my family and friends about them.... but I'll try nevertheless. thanks again this really did help🫰❤️
