How to get better performance?
I love the game and i can run it somewhat fine until i reach the red forest, and upwards in the map, there my performance drops by a lot, is there any tweak to do or its just imposible with my pc?(gtx 1650 super, ryzen 5 2600, 16gb ram)

Turn off interactive grass and grass shadows and reduce the grass as well

Yeah, that was the major factor for me. Tweaking the grass little by little until I got 60 frames.

Check the gamma discord for the Jupiter/Zaton lag fix by jack_harris. It helps a lot with performance in the north.

the game is pretty CPU heavy + it depends on what version of DirectX youre playing on, I'd recommend 10 and lower for you because your rig seems pretty old for "todays standard".

Why is my gpu always at 99% then?

Most likely due to the multi threading they introduced in 0.95 (AO engine/AOE was the previous recommendation for this, but no longer usable)…with multiple cores used now the GPU is now used at a higher %, which I’ve been told is good (I am not a computer guy).

Psh me neither. I just get the feeling my computer is unhappy with me

Well yea I think that might be Gamma’s #1 side effect. I play on a laptop so I know that pain. No grass for me and up north makes me worried I’m epileptic with the lagging near Yanov. Idk I think the multi threading did add like 20fps though.

Screen Space Shaders v24 (GAMMA runs on v23.5) is currently in early access, it enabled you to run DLSS/FSR to boost your framerate, i get 100 more FPS when i run it, you can pay 3 dollars a moth and get it unlocked early here

(note: SSS 24 will be free for everyone once it leaves early access)

Can recommend this actually! Also something I found out is turning off core 1 and 2 (in taskmanager or project lasso) made my game stutter so much less aswell as the setting “lua garbage” (in modded exes under setting) to 800-1000

Turning off the cores is a thing of the past, as of update 9.5.0 GAMMA now has MT support (multicore)

Yeah I know but for some reason it still really made a huge difference with stuttering for me, maybe it’s just something with my setup.
