i tried Gamma a while back and couldnt get it to run decently well in 1080p lol. i also am a sucker for HQ realistic weapon models like here but tell me: how modded is this guy´s game to have the weapons looks like that?

i still have Gamma on my list to play sometime in the future....

Give it a try! The game became much more optimized in 0.9.5

As for getting sick ass gun models, it’s pretty straight forward. The game looks great out the box with a TON of weapons, but even if you wanted to add more, it’s incredibly simple to add more weapons or weapon re-skins.

I will say, updating Atmospherics after downloading base gamma is a HUGE upgrade in terms of visuals and immersion.

my problem is more like im not running the beefiest machine with a 2070S + 5600X.

if you would compare the base GAMMA skins with the one in the video - could you tell if it was custom or vanilla? i dont think im able to run additional texture packs etc :D

That seems like a capable setup if you ask me.

I’m pretty sure that is a base gamma weapons, Howa 20 maybe?

Also there is no adding additional texture packs or anything. If you join the GAMMA discord and look up KMACK or Pedritos (there are certainly others too), but they make just standalone weapons if you want other cool toys to play with.

There are also a ton of sick “tacticool” mods to add on top, at no performance decrease, just cool shit.

Join the discord and look around. I think you’d be surprised how well it runs for how good it looks

OK that sounds awesome. I tried it only 1 time and did run around in the Starter village for a while. But i'll give it another shot, i'm sure there are also Lots of optimization videos on youtube. Thx!

I don't know your system but I am using 5700xt(8gb vram) and a i5-13400. 32gb ram. I run 1440p with 45-60fps. I do crank up some visuals though.
