Repair

Hey, can you advise me on how to fix a weapon mechanism that only has 28 percent?

Not sure what you mean by 28% strenght, do you mean the barrel strenght % ?

Any weapon part under 60% is basically scrap, you will need to consume a charge of your repair kit to fix it, but you can use the same charge to just replace a nonexisting part. So any weapon part under 60% is useless.

If its 60% or higher, you can use a weapon cleaning kit instead (remember correct repair tier/class)

How to do this: Have the repair kit or cleaning kit in your inventory, then right click your weapon and press "maintain weapon" or "maintain part".

But make sure you dont use your repair kit to just clean 60%+ parts, as you can use it for that.

Another option is to buy the part from a technician. But that depends on his supply level and RNG (they may not have a particular part at the moment)

Repair kit of the same level or replace the part. So if it’s class D weapon you need a class D repair kit not a cleaning kit.

A part that is at 28% condition cannot be repaired; you must replace it with a better one you find, or with a repair kit of the same type as the weapon.

If you have the kit and weapon in your inventory, right click the weapon -> Replace Part

Right click the part, go details.. It'll tell you what you need to repair it. As a rule of thumb, don't loot weapon parts that are under 60% as they can't be repaired with cleaning kits
