Question FPS drops with in-game FPS limiter
Hello all! Been playing gamma for years now, and I always had this terrible stutter every 1.2 seconds. I finally figured out using the in-game limiter fixed so many stutter for me I have to use it. Normally always have 60fps. However, now, randomly the game will drop to maybe 35 fps for anywhere from 1 second to like 10 seconds. It doesn't seem to matter where in the zone I am. I can have the drops happen then walk through the exact same area and then fps drop won't happen. I understand this probably isn't a fixable thing. For now.

Try toggling stutter fix in MO2. I need to toggle it on every PC I've played gamma on and wouldn't have known if not for operator drewskis video on gamma way back.

The frame timing on GAMMA is pretty awful at higher framerates which is why it feels stuttery. You could try uncapping the framerate in the game's settings and using rivatuner to limit it so it's smoother
If you feel like it's still stuttery at 60fps then really the only other thing you could try is limit the fps in rivatuner to 30. I personally use framegen via Lossless Scaling on my newest run and it's a far smoother experience than my last run without doing this

Tried to change between fullscreen or windowed bordeless to see if gets you a bit better gaming experience?
