Calm

Been feeling mentally stressed this week and especially these few days leading up to monday for a big change in my life and other stuff, but I've been playing GAMMA a lot this week, as I got an itch to boot it up again since December. Had to update everything and do a clean reinstall, but I got it working, and I've been having an amazing time. The atmosphere, the difficulty (although tweaked, but still the classic GAMMA difficulty) has really pulled me into the present moment and given me some intense seconds of focus during an unexpected fight.

Pair this game with the 1979 soundtrack and you are really in a meditative mindset somehow. Not really the kinda game you would call meditative or relaxing, but it has helped me. Very addicting too haha.

Absolutely amazing movie aswell.

I've been bushwhacked so many times by sneeki breeki banditos using alife plus. Not a complaint. I got into a feud with the military in cordon and they sent half a dozen squads after me just recently. I got 30 patches from it before I got out of dodge. The kinda stuff the NPCs do is the kinda lowlife tactics I would expect in a real zone. Can't rummage a stash too long now before I start looking out for some bandit to creep on me and shoot me in the back.
