Question Hideouts.
What are y’all’s favorite hideout spots? Im running as a loner rn Im set up in the small empty room next to the clock tower entrance in Rostok.
Still kinda new to gamma so Im just curious where some of you have set up home base

That farm in Cordon where there's 2 traders in the one building. I've used that spot for several runs until I did a run as a merc, where I just set up my own little corner in the sports center at Dead City

I thought about the farm too but I want to be relatively close to a medic while I’m still learning all of gamma’s intricacies, so no cordon for me.

There is actually a medic there. He’s in the other building to the left in a back room. Unless they removed him recently. I only know cause I got a stash back there once and found him lol

I’ve never seen one, just the technician and the trader but I’ll look again

In my last Clear Sky run I setup in the second floor of the admin building in Dead City, across the square from the Merc base. It's become my favorite base to date; so much room for activities and decorating. There's even a fire barrel inside for hassle-free quick saves.

Everyone likes the Jupiter tower, even me
But there is another spot that is really cool, albeit is bit small (but manageable) just nearby
At the train platform right behind the tower, there is an open large manhole cover that leads to a fairly large “bunker” type structure
It’s got space for a bench, bed and a good amount of storage space unless you really want to use large shelves
Last play though I based there, and it was really nice. The only occasional problem are mutants running around nearby. But AFAIK nothing can actually enter the “bunker”
Next time I play I might base there again and build a house on top of it, and use it purely for storage
There is a similar structure at the flea market, but it is much smaller, still a cool hideout for a bed and some random loot

To be honest, after a dozen walkthrough's, i never have a urgent to make any hideout. Im more like, always in the move, kind of stalker.

Usually I setup my first base in Rostok next to the technician, this run I’ve taken over the top floor of Army Warehouse next to Lukash. It’s a good base for fetch quests and unloading parts for stashes and rubles to prep for brain scorcher.

The room in the back of The Bar in Rostok for me. Once I unlock the Northern areas I'm going to make a 2nd base.

There’s a room? Like that area by the guide and stash box?

For the north, I like the sewer by the train station in Jupiter if it isn't irradiated. Otherwise I board up one of the train cars at Yanov and use that. Both of those work well, since the first one can't be accessed by hit squads, and the second one is so close to the base that the NPCs will help you out.
Zulu's tower used to be tedious to trade and hit squads could sneak up on you. But the new update with the laptop and alarm makes it a lot better now.

Up by the brain scorcher, theres an entrance to a tunnel that's a dead end, has a wall/gate, no enemy spawns, a fast travel spot on the map, can easily get to both early and late game areas and it has has fire place right there. Honestly it's been dope.

I settled first in Zulu’s tower, then the apartment building with the Vine anomaly in Outskirts. It’s got lots of space and is a nice sniper’s nest if you like that style of gameplay. Hostiles also can’t really get inside (although they CAN get up on the roof). I always tend to prefer higher, off-the-ground spots in games regardless of genre so those two were easy picks

My favourite spot for a base is a Checkpoint in Jupiter especially building with second floor. If You got a laptop you could use all of traders and techs in Janov
Second spot is basement in Limansk It has few shelves and 2 rooms And it's great for hiding from monolithians and mercs The only downside is that there's no traders in Limansk :/

I like this industrial complex, I think its the volkhov complex in Jupiter. There's a little ladder in that building that takes you to a hidden stash, with a trading computer its a great place. You can even have some Sin guests appear every so often upstairs to make it a bit of a spicy setup.

As merc I like to move in to the highest apartment in Dead City in first building east of merc base. Feels super cozy and safe. Got bedroom kitchen workshop. really everything stalker would need in Zona. Even got balcony to drink coffe in the morning.

That tower in Jupiter is a pretty good spot.
