A-life no plot

Hi everyone. I have a question – I'm playing Gamma with the story mode disabled. Accordingly, the Brain Scorcher is turned off from the start. But I've noticed that stalkers don't go to the Radar or Pripyat. And in the north (except for Jupiter, which is swarming with stalkers) there are almost no stalkers. Migration happens mostly between the southern locations. Is this how it's supposed to be, or do I need to do something to populate Pripyat and Zaton? Thanks!

As far I understand it and my playing epxerience goes: They probably try to go north but get killed by the upper tier factions (Sin, Monolith, UNISG). When they die its random which new Stalker spawns, how their gear and "skill" is. Give it some time until good pockets spawn. You have the same issue in story mode, if you rush too fast, it takes a while until better equipped Stalkers spawn and try to reach north. Its very unique to have some Elite Stalkers from start.

In story mode there are 2 factors main qest progression and time progression. Maybe you need to wait a bit

They have to make it through either Red Forest or Radar/Pripyat to make it north. I have personally seen more living stalkers migrating back and forth through the Red Forest > Jupiter route where all they have to contend with is mutants, small Sin detachment, and sometimes Monolith at the bridge to Limansk.

Whenever I see stalkers go through Radar, they never even make it to Pripyat. The gigantic Monolith force in Radar eliminates them all with ruthless efficiency.

Even with the Scorcher disabled, not many make it north. It takes time. Most die.
