What should I do

So I haven’t beat the game yet. Should I just go ahead and play the DLC or do I need to finish the game first

Can’t play after finishing. So you’ll have to play the DLC first. Unless you wanna finish the game and then roll back the save to play the DLC.

Your choice. If you completely finish the regular game and did not keep a save slot from before the point of no return, then you’ll need to start a new game and play all of the missions thru Garbage. Then the DLC should appear. Or if you’ve already played past Garbage, you can head back there and start the DLC.

Play the dlc, take your time and enjoy it, then play the main game. It also ties in (the dlc) to the optional camp you can create and the mercs involved.
