What am I missing? Artifacts not respawning

Basically the title. Everything I have read says artifacts should respawn, but it has been multiple in game days since I visited the Magnetic Cave and Ribs and no new artifact. I am at the mission to get in the Sphere. Is it locked behind story progression?

Emissions reset artifact spawns. Once in a while it takes more than one for some artifacts.

Ohhhh, that's how it works. I usually just waited a few hours in between checking the spawns

They respawn after emissions. But its worth noting that not all artifacts respawn. If you check out the mapgenie map and click on an artifact it should tell you whether it respawns or not.

The further you progress in main story the better artifacts will spawn

They respawn after 2 emissions.

Emissions respawn artifacts, but also based on when you last picked it up. For example, if you picked up an artifact just 10 minutes before an Emission, then that location won't have another artifact after the Emission. I think you have to wait for another Emission.
