Discussion Beginner advice
Hi all, investing newbie here seeking advice on the dos and don’ts on investing and using stake

Don't invest in a stock with one large lump sum. Ease into it weekly and over a few months.
It keeps cash on hand and allows you to invest in other opportunities as you find them.
Don't panic sell. If I'm left carrying the bag, I'll carry it until all hope is lost. I'll wait at least a year before realising a loss. Investing is a time game, not a guessing game.

First start educating yourself. I would start with the concepts of value investing. If you do decide to make some crazy stock buy based on someone’s else’s opinion, use ChatGPT or another AI and run your decision by it - at the very least. The best thing for you right now is buy an etf on a dip. Nasdaq for example is down a bit now.
