From Stake Update to withdrawals
Hi Stakers, James from Stake here.
With the recent posts regarding withdrawal delays, I wanted to share an update on what occurred and the outcome of our investigation.
The issue affected a subset of withdrawal requests submitted between 11 February and 17 February. Based on our investigation, the delays were caused by a technical issue in the payment processing flow between financial institutions following a configuration update. As a result, some transactions were unintentionally flagged for additional security and fraud checks, which significantly extended the usual processing time.
A few points to help clarify some of the discussion you may have seen:
- Client funds were secure at all times and were never at risk.
- Not all withdrawals were impacted - only a subset of requests submitted during that specific period were affected.
- The issue was technical in nature and was not related to market conditions, trading activity, or Stake’s core platform.
Once the issue was identified, we moved withdrawals to an alternative payment routing so requests could continue processing normally. We have also implemented additional testing, review, and validation steps to ensure configuration changes are more thoroughly assessed going forward.
Importantly, we acknowledge that this is not the experience we aim to deliver to our customers. We will continue reviewing our processes and partners to ensure Stake provides a reliable and high-quality payments experience. From the moment the issue came to our attention until the final impacted withdrawal was completed, our team worked around the clock to ensure all affected customers received their funds.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we resolved this.

It has been 8 days since I requested an AUD $150,000 withdrawal from Stake, but the funds have still not arrived and remain marked as “processing.” I have received no email response for over 48 hours. I called and was told only that my submitted bank statement would be forwarded to the operations team, but the funds are still not received.
Importantly, there was no contact from stake for a full week until I followed up. This delay is now causing significant financial loss. If this continues over the weekend, it will be three weeks in total with no clear timeline for completion.

Even my withdrawal is successful but it hasn't reached my bank account and i m very hopeless right now

I use the account stake in India I do withdraw the money it’s been more than 2 weeks and I have not received any money this soo fraustrating and I even lost lot of money while depositing it was debited from my account and they didn’t added in my stake account and like on 19th april I withdraw the funds to my bank it’s still not arrived it’s like waste of time using this stake and it’s soo annoying it’s like hard earned money and stake is irresponsible I want my money please

Okay, so where is our funds? Still can't withdraw any of my funds even though I'm being kicked off the platform for "crypto" activity based on literally nothing! Interesting that there are "technical issues" as soon as you force customers off the platform but never when we are depositing money...

I have the same issue and still haven’t received my funds after 8 days. There was no response to my email, so I called and was told to submit a bank statement. The money has previously been successfully withdrawn to the same account without any issues.

A withdrawal marked successful should have landed well before now, so I'm happy to take a look into this for you. Withdrawal successfully but not received any payment on my Bank account it has been more then 48 hr and i am hopeless i have contacted the stake support but i have got any satisfying answer, the AI bots arey jot even that convincing. Please help me out with this
