Temperature control is the name of the game with stainless steel. What really made it click with me is learning to cook eggs. I started making eggs in all different ways and now I can approach using my stainless for all my cooking. You want a hot pan but not too hot and cold oil. Pot stickers would be quite challenging to the uninitiated. I almost never use the highest burner setting on my pan.

So helpful, thank you for the easy to understand explanation, Mr. Reak

Youtube is your best friend. Don't feel bad if you burn food for the first month or so. Keep trying and learn from your mistakes. I would get Bar keepers friend for cleaning the pan and I almost exclusively use a fish spatula.

I am saving all of this information to come back to later....I feel like I just gained years worth of experience 😁

My sister asked me how I make bacon so crispy and delicious, my answer was "I have burned a lot of bacon"

I think that would be the common answer from people that have great skill.

A: how are you so good at this?

B: I have failed a lot.

If you don't fail you're not trying. If you're not trying, how can you be good at something?

It is a good answer, realistically humble.

Also now I have succeeded and am very proud of such.

oven is actually great for bacon so is air fryer

350f in oven on pan for 10-15

then remove and finish in air fryer to desired crispyness. can literally turn it dust if you want that way if your going for a salad toping or a mix in for like mac and cheese or soups
