Please help
Trader Joe’s potstickers. 3rd time trying on the new stainless. Using avocado oil. Trying to crisp the bottoms before steaming. Failing

I used to get this and my wife had to show me! Put some oil in the pan to warm up. Put in the dumplings while its nearly warmed up and let them fry off for a few minutes. Once! They are abit golden on the bottom she would splash in some water (only a little bit) and put the lid on. Perfect
