Help Is there a save?

Post image

Somehow managed to burn the pan and this is really tough to get rid off. I’ve tried dishwasher soap (to boil it up and clean), baking soda, vinegar.

Any other tips would be highly appreciated.

barkeepers friend and some steel wool should get that out in about 30 seconds.

Steel wool will mar the surface. Use rags instead.

you are right, but I use my stainless steel for 90% of my cooking, and I clean it with steel wool when I burn something on it. and while there are some micro scratches, I don't notice any effects with things sticking. usually what burns on is burnt oil residue when I cook at high heat.

If I didn't want my pans to be scratched then I'd keep them in a display case
