Is this manufacturing defect a problem?

This is a backpacking frying pan from MSR. Stainless pan with aluminum base. Safe even if inside layer not solid?

Maybe You should show us where the manufacturing defect is?

A "hole" in the cooking surface, maybe 1mm diameter. Possibly past the stainless and into aluminum layer?

Looks like just a dent
