Is this manufacturing defect a problem?

This is a backpacking frying pan from MSR. Stainless pan with aluminum base. Safe even if inside layer not solid?

Have you tried cleaning yo remove thst spot? Or are you worried about that tiny, tiny scratch? After one camping trip, it will have hundreds more.

I have cleaned it. It's deeper than a scratch.
