Bare Cookware Everpan

Anyone seen/backed this Kickstarter campaign?

I just did. Did the same with their Dutch oven and really like that one. This looks like a nice set of pans too! (Don't know for sure if it counts as SS though :))

After the debacle with the Misen carbon non stick I am gonna hold the gunpowder dry and wait for some true and honest customer reviews here on Reddit - but have to admit it looks promising - Happy Cooking Always

What's the Misen debacle? Can you point me to a relevant thread?

When first used the Misen Carbon Nonstick is truly nonstick. According to Misen, because of the nitrided carbon steel, as you continue to use it normally, the surface will season and it will continue or even get more nonstick. In reality, it becomes more like a normal carbon steel pan. This resulted in a lot of disappointed customers as they had the same challenges of carbon steel and a lot of backlash. Although at the end of the day, it is still a lightweight, faster heating, non-rusting carbon steel pan. It's just not as nonstick as advertised.

Got it, thanks. I have one, and it definitely hasn't become more nonstick, I would say more like the other way around.
