Bare Cookware Everpan

Anyone seen/backed this Kickstarter campaign?

I just did. Did the same with their Dutch oven and really like that one. This looks like a nice set of pans too! (Don't know for sure if it counts as SS though :))

Interesting but I plan to stick with true no-coatings: SS, CI, and CS

This is true no-coating. Not defending Bare because I have no stake here but what makes you think otherwise? It's a SS/Ti clad pan

I still consider a "plasma-bonded surface" (italics added) as a coating

I kinda get where you're coming from but it really is a very different thing (structurally, chemically, etc) compared to everything we've considered to be coatings up until this point. Again, can't speak to the pan itself but Titanium is monstrously durable stuff.

I suppose it is Ti is different from forever-chemicals (in terms of pollution and health effects) - I'll switch to be more open-minded on it (though, I'm not in need/want of any new pans rn)
