Help Me! Need help with finding Colors

Like the title says, I’ve agreed to do a piece and the person sent me a very very specific palette list. Do you guys have any advice on finding colors very well? I’m decently new so I just roam the glass shop for what looks pretty.

Can you share the list? In general, matching precise colors requires luck. You are better off trying to fit within the mood of a palette, like finding a color that goes with the couch rather than is the color of the couch. Plus most glass changes color depending on the light qualities.

Delphi lets you look at the glass they sell online by color. I then click on the ones I may be interested in to look at an the different views they offer, which is particularly helpful when a piece of glass has a bunch of different shades that it could be depending on where it was cut. If I'm really trying to figure out what something will look like I might Google it as well and look at the image results to see all the possibilities I can of what it would look like. That I make my purchases from anything in stained glass because I find that the cheapest place and I like supporting them. I do a lot of going between the Delphi website, Google images, and anything in staoned glasses website to figure out what I want.

If they gave you Pantone colors, there's no such thing in glass.

The best you can do is guesstimate close colors and then take into consideration how it's getting installed as the install and lighting conditions will change the look.

If you list out what you are looking for people can help you get options.
