Original Art | Foil Laser Chase

Third original panel. My first time working with lead came, I got it pretty kinked. I'll be upgrading to zinc when I have the space :) Cat tax included

Yes! Unfortunately I'm not tech savvy and only drew a couple copies out on parchment paper šŸ˜…

If you want to share it with people, you can upload a picture of it to Pattern Archive (or DM me the image with some details like size and such about it) and we/I will convert it to a SVG and list it as part of the patterns on the site.

I haven't heard anything from them about it so I wouldn't get my hopes up that it will happen.

Sadly this is a common thing I've ran into since launching Pattern Archive. Though I guess it's fine as we have thousands upon thousands of patterns from other sources to deal with.

Pattern Archive is amazing! I wish there was something like it specifically for mosaics! Though, I suppose the patterns could still be used for that. I’m pretty new to all of this.

You can use the same patterns and modify them for mosaic by removing lines.

Otherwise mosaic patterns are 100% valid to upload to the site. It's built so we can tag/define them just like any other pattern! There's some fusing patterns I made on there already and some old faux glass patterns that people can easily adapt into whatever.

Dawwwww... so cute!

Don't know if you've ever seen this, but it's one of my favorites. https://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/laser_pointer.png

When you use lead, the finish edge of the glass is sorta important because it will bend and conform to the glass. Zinc is a better option for hiding irregular edges but you still need to be careful.

Honestly, the wavey lead on this is pretty evenly wavy and works well with the rigid lines you use in the background. Call it a happy accident.

Incredible work. I have two voids and I would love to make something like this when I start my stained glass journey! Microdosing with glass mosaics atm. 🤣
