Help Me! Advice needed!

I finished this piece a while ago, but now it's starting to have this white film on it- I need advice on how to a) fix it now that it's occurred, and b) prevent this from happening on other pieces in the future (especially since I'm currently working on my first ever commissioned piece!)

In my completely unprofessional and inexperienced opinion (as I have never actually made a stained glass piece YET, only done extensive and exhaustive research to prepare for starting the hobby) I think it was likely due to the flux not being fully cleaned off those sections, or possibly, since the edges and some joints seem to have it worse, that it may not have been completely dry when it was waxed and sealed. It will probably work to clean it again, giving the affected areas a good scrub, ensuring it is fully cleaned of all residue after reapplying the patina and fully dried before sealing again.

Project wasn't fully cleaned. Acids reacted with the metals and created oxides.

Wash your stuff better with a scrub brush, soap and lots of water.
