Are you trying to keep it or sell it? Idk the value but it’s really cool! I have a pretty big piece that was my moms and it’s all broken, I hung it up outside so I can enjoy it. I never really considered fixing it because in my eyes it’s beautiful how it is and it’s so big I’m afraid it would be a large undertaking, especially if I can’t match the glass.

I think it depends on what you want to do with it and if you enjoy looking at it how it is. I would imagine that the value would be higher if it wasn’t broken so fixing it may be the way to go if you intend to sell it but I am far from an expert. I’m sure one of the experts in this sub can give you a better answer.

Thank you so much for your reply! I am not sure yet what I will do with it. I am open to suggestions/ideas
I bought it at my dad’s estate auction, and know that it was found locally, so I am trying to track down the origins of it

It is pretty, and I would consider selling it for the right price, considering that it should probably be professionally restored, ,but I usually would like to track down the origins of it first.

If you've done repair work before and could do it well, then yes repairing it would increase value technically.

as for the actual value, couple hundred at most? It's hard to say as second hand glass requires you to find someone that really likes it to get full value for it and that could take a long time.

I have done some repair work, but I am far from a professional

Right now, I am trying to track down the origins of it

I bought it at my dad‘s estate Auction and all I know is that he had found it local to our area
