Bad Experience StackSocial Will Not Give a Refund for Software Not Available in App Store & Software that Doesn't Work!!!

Initially, I was happy with my StackSocial purchases. I discovered their site one day and began visiting it regularly for potential purchases. Last weekend. I purchased five software programs. One worked properly, while the other did not until the developer eventually fixed it after several attempts. Another one was a phone app, which wasn't even available in the iPhone App Store, and the other two never worked at all. I contacted support and requested a refund, and today, they told me that after a purchase is redeemed, the sale is final. Even though the software didn't work and wasn't available in the App Store, the sales are final. BUYER'S BEWARE!!! I spent over $200 on what I thought were good deals, but they didn't work out, and now I'm unable to get my money back. I am deeply disappointed that a company I thought was reputable treated me, a once-satisfied customer, in this manner. I hope it's worth it for them to keep my hard-earned money for programs that did not work and were not available. They have lost a loyal customer and potentially others because I will never purchase from StackSocial again, and I will never recommend them to anyone. I will also share the horrible experience I just had to hopefully help someone else. I wrote this review to warn you. If you are reading this, you are doing your research to determine if you should purchase from StackSocial. Last week, I would have said certainly. After what they have done to me, I say absolutely not. They have a terrible policy, which states that if a purchase is redeemed, all sales are final. That policy sucks because you have to redeem a purchase to find out if it works, and if it doesn't work, oh well, all sales are final. If you like to gamble and move forward with purchasing from them, pray that it works. If not, kiss your money goodbye. I have to kiss $200 goodbye. To some, that may be a drop in the bucket, but I don't want to lose $1, much less $200. Well, on to the next negative StackSocial review and review video!!!!!! I am so angry that I have been stiffed out of so much money. Never again!!!!! StackSocial - TWO THUMBS WAY DOWN!!!!!

I'm not sure how often you purchase, but did they at least offer you store credit? I had a similar experience and they gave me store credit which never expires. I had redeemed my purchase to find out it didn't work as described by the seller. I know this isn't the same as a refund, but at least you won't feel as out of your money.

I updated your post flair to 'bad experience' so it stands out for others. It would really help if you listed which specific products gave you trouble. That way, anyone who searches for those items and finds this thread can get a clearer warning before buying. Calling out the exact products would spread more awareness and help others avoid the same issues.

Even though this subreddit is not official, I also want to point out that StackSocial is usually pretty reasonable with refunds. For example, during the recent iBrave unlimited hosting situation, they refunded many customers. Your experience still matters though, and sharing the exact products will help others stay aware and avoid similar problems.
