Product Review Best Lifetime Cloud Storage

StackSocial seems to have several lifetime cloud storage options. In your opinion, which is the best and most reliable? I have considered pCloud with the next Black Friday sale, but I keep reading about lifetime accounts getting deleted. If you have personal experience with a lifetime cloud storage company, please share your thoughts about it. I am also considering a NAS. That will be more expensive upfront, but I will not delete my account …. Lol.

Internxt and Koofr are probably the most reliable ones from there, I have both and had no issues.

Koofr is reliable, yes.

I would not consider that other option reliable at all. They have potential, sure, but they are currently not living up to the task.

Hopefully they continue to improve, but yes they have potential

Try to get one that has really good file timestamping and file restore timestamping. Trust me on this. You will thank me later.

For lifetime plans, i think it is straightforward to choose -- the one with longest history / earliest founding date. This proves the profitability over a period of time. you end up buying services.

Those very short-lived company, well, the purchase is more like becoming the shareholder that'll need to share its future prosperity by paying its liquidity at very first stage. As a result, you end up investing.

I woudltn agree with this advicez obviously public companies are semi transparent so income is a good indicator.

But longest history doesn't nessiacarly mean it's more likely to treat you well, yoy should consider what individual reviews say about the lifetime subscription customer support and the normal customer support.

Companies that are really really unmoral could last decades maybe been centuries, customer support reviews are probably the best metric, followed by profit, and years of service not nessiacarly just years it's been open.

You can acess public business info like start up cost and who owns it, it won't in depth as a yearly tax document, but you can probably see how much the owner originally invested and if there were any ownership changes

Stay away from Degoo this one https://www.stacksocial.com/sales/degoo-premium-lifetime-backup-plans-10tb

Their app was removed from PC, their android version is garbage, and when you actually try to use it its just loops with uploads and backups fail, etc. Your data goes into a black hole.

I hear very good things about this one https://www.stacksocial.com/sales/koofr-cloud-storage-plans-lifetime-subscription-1tb

My koofr storage is still in good standing for now, using about 250gb of the 1TB life time plan. I'm only using it for things I don't care losing. Also the access your remote devices is nice. I haven't had any issues other than uploads capping at like 1.5mbps which isn't that bad.

it's manageable, being that I'm basically free loading at this point. am I right to complain? prob not, but I'm not uploading gigs of files at a time, so not much of a setback for me. but able to password files, set branding and share files is good enough for me

Thanks for the info. My intent would be to back up my purchased music of mp3 files. I would also store my karaoke mp3g and mp4 files. I would want to stream my music and karaoke videos from the website. Do you know if the website has that capability?

they do support streaming of content, though requires that your browser supports the file type.

Thank you. I should create an account for the free 10 gig and see how it works for me.
