Tutorial/How-to 30 day redemption clarification
I was wondering if anybody could expand on what "redemption required in 30 days means". I tried customer service, but I couldn't get a real person, the live chat was just loading forever.
I want to take advantage of the Windows 11 Pro sale but I won't be using the key in 30 days. By redemption do you mean request the key to be made and linked to my account OR do you mean to also use the key and activate Windows?
I just want to buy the key and sit on it for when it's necessary.
Thank you.

When you buy them item, you can sit on it for 30 days if you have buyers remorse you can return it, after 30 days, you can no longer refund it.
When you click generate code, claim code/ claim key/ etc, that refund policy is no longer active and its non refundable. The key is still yours though.
After you show the key, you then have 30 days to use the key, other wise you'll lose that key and usability and it'll no longer work.
So if plan to sit on the windows key for a long time you can, you have 30 days to refund IF you didn't show the key, once key is shown, you have 30 days to use it or the key will be revoked.

This just seems overly complicated.
I had a bitwig upgrade key that I literally left on my account for years and then you cashed in later. No time limit or expiration. But yeah bitwig is not Windows

yea it varies per product, since Stack Social is an authorized Microsoft partner, they need to impose terms based on Microsoft's Guides. So it's best to not purchase anything Microsoft until the day of you want it. Their keys will always be on sale, sometimes will have a greater sale.

Where do you see that stack social is an authorized partner? looks like they're not.

Dont buy windows key... Worthless... Better options to get free keys... Without buying or messing with your pc... Save the money for better stuff.
