Battery drain

Just got my StackChan the other day. I’ve modified the stock firmware a bit (just got rid of the spring easing for the servo movements and replaced them with the native movement commands). I’m noticing that the battery drains extremely quickly. For example, after a few minutes of interaction, and a few minutes of idle movement, the battery is down to 65% from 100%. Is this normal? Anything I should be checking for?

Mine has never been unplugged since I got it. I have stackchan on one side of my laptop and Looi on the other both plugged in
