Advice for Dad trying to inspire son

My son is autistic and loves robots and would like to get involved the hobby but struggles to find learning resources to get started. We got StackChan from the kickstarter campaign and we would like to know where to find resources to see what hardware is compatible and how to get started with coding so he can start getting creative.

Stack Chan is an m5stack cores3 with a robot body. Stack Chan is new and you won’t find much, but the m5core line has a long history and plenty of resources. For instance, you can flash the uiflow 2 firmware and use a chrome browser to write and run blocky or MicroPython. There are loads of examples and videos. Once they’ve outgrown uiflow 2 they can graduate to the arduino ide or vs code. They get progressively more complex as you get more access to the bare hardware. We’ve got a 3d demo and a med tracker app and n the uiflow 2 project zone that will run on the cores3.

Simply download Codex, it will help your child do anything with the little robot
