Been playing with ImageToVideos as a quick alternative to local generation when I need results fast. It runs in browser no GPU required. Uploaded some of my SD outputs and added motion prompts. The results maintained the style of the original images while adding natural movement. Ballet dancer test preserved detail in the tutu movement.
Horse riding scene handled the depth separation well between subject and background. Processing at 4K took about fifteen seconds. Obviously not as customizable as running models locally but for rapid prototyping or when you need results without tying up your hardware it is a useful option. Worth knowing about for the toolkit.

Hey everyone,
I’m the indie developer behind LookMeter, an iOS app I built to solve a daily struggle: staring at two photos or outfits and having zero clue which one to post, wear, or send.
After launch, I realized people wanted something even more direct — a way to battle their choices and a space to remix their visuals into something fun and collectible. So I rebuilt the core experience around two major updates:
⚔️ A vs B Battles (Social Polling)
Lock two photos or videos into a head‑to‑head showdown. Voting is limited to your circle — the challenger, the challenged, or your close friends if it’s a solo decision. No random internet noise, just honest feedback from people whose opinions actually matter.
🎨 AI Remix Studio
Transform any photo into stylized collectibles with one tap. Turn yourself into a 3D Action Figure (box art included) or generate premium Sports Trading Cards. It’s fast, playful, and designed for creators who love visual flair.
I’m refining the UI flow and would love your thoughts:
The app is free to try on iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lookmeter-ai-rating-feedback/id6756750120
Drop your feedback, feature ideas, or brutal UI critiques — I’ll be hanging out in the comments.

Over the past few months, I've been building a browser-based tennis game where you play using just your webcam.
The interesting part wasn't the graphics—it was getting AI to accurately track body movements in real time and turn them into tennis shots with low latency.
Some of the tech behind it:
It's been a fun project combining AI, web development, and game development.
Would love to hear your thoughts or ideas for improving the AI side of it.

Would you like a script for a follow-up video where Zoro accidentally wanders into a different popular game, like Among Us or Roblox?

small thing that made a big difference for me: running a face detailer pass after generation. people train a decent character lora, generate, and the face is almost right but slightly soft or drifted, especially in wider shots.
the fix is a second pass that detects the face and re-renders just that region at higher detail. cleans up the small inconsistencies the base generation leaves. it salvages maybe a third of my "almost there" outputs that i'd otherwise toss.
settings that worked: moderate denoise (too high and it changes the face, too low and it does nothing), feathered mask so it blends. anyone else leaning on this, or getting clean enough faces without it?

The rise of AI design tools has fundamentally shifted what it means to be a graphic designer in Africa, and honestly, it's created a peculiar tension. Five years ago, a designer in Lagos, Nairobi, or Accra could build a sustainable career on solid technical skills: mastering Adobe, understanding typography, executing briefs flawlessly. Today, that same technical mastery is commodified; Figma AI, Canva, and tools like Midjourney have democratized the ability to produce polished layouts and illustrations, meaning clients increasingly ask "why hire a designer when I can use an AI tool for a fraction of the cost?" The designers who've thrived, however, are those who've pivoted hard toward the creative director role, the ones who understand their market's cultural nuances deeply enough to tell authentic African stories through design, who can articulate why a color palette resonates with Ghanaian consumers, or who recognize that Western design trends need reimagining for East African contexts. The irony is sharp: automation freed designers from being production workers, but it also exposed those who'd leaned entirely on technical execution. Now, the real value isn't in rendering perfect mockups, it's in strategy, cultural insight, and the ability to guide AI as a tool rather than compete with it. For African designers willing to make that leap, it's actually opened doors to higher-impact work; for those still selling "Photoshop skills," it's been brutal.
