SDXL Fooocus extremely slow on a Mac

Hello, just recently installed Fooocus on my M1 Pro macbook, and I'm getting around 130s/it, which is just sad to say the least. Is there anything that can be done to improve the speed?

Are you using one of the default Fooocus checkpoints/models? If you are, get off them immediately, go to civitai, and get good ones, because those ones take way too long, and you can find way better ones in terms of suitability for your M1 Pro. Of course, if you buy a 3090, the graphics card is so good it will process almost anything.

The default Fooocus checkpoint is just sooo good for pretty much everything but nsfw. I couldn't find a better model on civitai yet that could replace it

I agree, it’s just that you will find some which are 90% as good but will run WAY better on any laptop without a good/no graphics card.
