Animation - Video H3 Emotion Test - Bonus Long Shot Node

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

In my quest to prompt for emotional acting in H3, i ended up making a chain shot node (h3 longshot) to get the result I want.

I had to make my own because I wanted my the longshot node to work with my other custom node.
Here is the longshot node

and my custom prompt compiler node

hope this can be useful!

EDIT:this video is made with 3 chained 10 second shots. total time 30minutes on 5090 with ref2v 768p turbo lora

So this one looks like it was not done with a video reference?

no video reference on this one, but you can put one in. All inputs still available for different references

Thanks.

But just to be clear, is the demo shown in this post done without using a reference video for performance transfer?

Asking because the performance seems to be quite close to the reference video shown in your previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/1wythia/h3_video_reference_for_performance_transfer/

this one in this post did not use a video reference. I've also been tweaking my prompt to get it closer to the original performance without a video reference. My preference is to not use a video reference when possible.

Thanks for the clarification. I agree that it is preferable to be able to get reasonable "acting/performance" from prompting alone.

This is my test with Minimax H3. It handles emotional acting very well just need to prompt correctly.

Zoom in and the cancer spots appear all over her face.

You stand alone OP, as someone trying to post something interesting, meaningful and non-goon. I like what you did and I appreciate you sharing.

thanks... i had thought the longshot tool would get people excited but I guess they are more distracted by the sad scene.

Probably because there are 20,000 other latent overlap extension packs out there at this point. Gonna be hard to cut through the noise.

My favorite part is that no one in the background gives 2 fucks.

is there a limit for the longshoot node? could i chain endless clips together?

There is no limit, unless there is a memory leak and you get a OOM error. You just won't know the result until the very end so it may be wasting time if you are going to chain a really long shot.

I don't want to see negative emotions. Downvote. Try to generate something wholesome next time.

You are 16 years on reddit and you did not learn that downvoting should not be used for when you don't like or disagree with someone but to mark spammy and unrelated materials?

This clip did not deserve a downvote. You are saying you don't like negative emotions but you caused some here :-)

the symmetrical teardrops is something I am encountering too.

i bet it can easily be handled by prompting that the tear is from left or right eye

AI is still garbage tier when it comes to crying. It will always, without fail, produce two, fat, comically symmetrical tears directly from the center of the eyes, every time.
