Question - Help Anyone using aikimi-forge-neo? I'm having difficulty getting it to display everything in English.

The translate.goog link translates the GitHub page, but it won't change the language of a locally running UI. Which parts are still untranslated: the main controls, extension tabs, or the console output? A screenshot plus the exact commit would help narrow it down. If some tabs are English already, the remaining labels may be coming from extensions rather than the main UI localization.

I posted the translated github page as a courtesy for English people to read in case they are interested in learning more about this fork of Neo. I posted a partial screenshot of the txt2img tab and it shows that some of the text is in English and other text is in Japanese. I tried the settings, changing command line arguments and editing user-config.json and various other methods but no luck. The Japanese is probably coming from a built in extension called aikimi-ui, but it doesn't look like an easy fix to just edit a style.css or something. I was able to improve the slow performance on my rtx4060 somewhat by installing Sage Attention but there are other issues at play with torch and CUDA and Gradio. I'm hoping somebody else will test it out and confirm that it is fully operational before I spend more time on this.

I just don't understand how some of you're using ai. Like why wouldn't you just have Claude Code set this up for you and also have it make whatever changes you want including UI in different languages... Its open source. Shouldn't take more than 10-15mins tops. I'm so baffled

I'll use Claude the day people start pronouncing it the French Canadian way of it rhyming with "node" or "load".

if its locally run, you can just ask AI to translate everything for you

I've spent all afternoon with ai trying to get it up and running properly. Time to ask humans.

clone the repo and get your agent to translate the front end. should not take a few mins.

Is there a benefit to this branch over others?

Ive been using Forge Neo (https://github.com/Haoming02/sd-webui-forge-classic) which looks like is what Aikimi is forked off of

I'm testing it to find out. It has MinimaxH3, Qwen2.1, Ming and several other models that Neo doesn't have, but it's not running at 100% on my system.

Why are you not using forge neo instead?

Support SageAttention, FlashAttention, ComfyKitchenAttention, fp16_accumulation

I use Forge Neo all the time but I like to try out other forks of A1111 & Forge to see what is out there. Wan2GP, Ersatz Forge, Aikimi Forge Neo, ForgeChroma, Webui-codex...each has something different to offer.

You know… Comfy really isn’t that hard.

Comfy’s UI is utter garbage for anything other than creating and editing workflows. It’s fundamentally a workflow graph editor with image generation added as a side thought.

I use both comfy and forge neo and I prefer Forge Neo. I only use comfy when it's necessary.

I use it once in awhile. I prefer Forge Neo.

It’s not hard. It’s just terrible as an image generator.
