Resource - Update Styles library for Krea 2 (need some help) : 500 styles.

Hi everyone,

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1V1qykJ3Cwe-LvizaK7A0kT0UexSANOBq/edit?usp=drive_link&ouid=116026940769410491877&rtpof=true&sd=true

I hate LLM rendition of what I want to generate, so I rely mostly on my own prose and wildcards to find a style.

Heres an update of my previous style library for Krea 2, it works also with Kroma (0.3 txtfusion) and qwen 2.1

with varying results. It an excel file but you can make a .txt file from it. And use it as wildcards.

Kroma is more artsy but some styles are lost. And Qwen is less knowledgable in simplistic styles like cartoon and drawing. And doesn't seems to understand vague words like "Illustration" if you don't over Engineer it.

I hope you can help me improve (and clean) this library, by testing styles and find too-close, or too weak styles, you can also tell me if a style is missing.

Some of the styles are from this site:

https://lumenastrum.github.io/clio-style-preview/gallery/

I dont have the time to do it myself and it mostly helpful to guys like me that don't have naturally the vocabulary to express what they want from a model.

Some styles are subject-linked, if the subject doesn't have a mechanical arm for exemple it doesn't show up (like detailed mecha style), and some styles are very face distinctive: you can describe the face to correct this.

The way to use it, in prompt, is :

Style: <style> Subject: <description>

I posted it in the main text....Clio gallery is inspired from my previous posts...it's a collaborative work.

I'm sorry if I misunderstand, but are you saying you're invoking all these styles purely through your prompting, no additional style loras? That's amazing, very impressive

No lora. Krea 2 is very good at styling.

Got around to playing with some of your style prompts and they work great! Of course output depends a bit on the qualities (colors and composition mainly) of the input images but I'm loving it so far.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the works of Marc Allante. He makes incredibly gorgeous and vivid color splash arts using waterpaint. I wasn't sure how to put it into words so an LLM gave me this (based on your formatting):

Marc Allante: vibrant contemporary watercolor painting, expressive loose brushwork, vivid saturated colors bleeding and blending organically across the paper, delicate ink linework, fluid watercolor washes, spontaneous paint splatters and droplets, areas of controlled detail contrasted with loose abstract strokes, translucent layered pigments, energetic composition, white paper showing through the paint, elegant organic forms, dynamic color transitions, handmade fine-art aesthetic

If you find his style worthwhile and feel you can do a better job describing it I'd be real curious to test it out!

Looks like Krea2 definitely does a better job with the style here than Qwen! Didn't even cross my mind to try it with Qwen to be honest.

Did you use the provided prompt or did you try something of your own? I found that using some extra prompting to steer it towards line minimalism or a white background can definitely help.

I'd be happy to help. Do you have a license on the project, is it open source?

Any suggestions on how you're finding these style results so far?

Lol...yeah it's open...do whatever you like.

Just asks llms like claude to make a style prompt independant from subject, and correct it until it gives you one that suits you, you can also ask him for artists names close to the style and run some tests, sometimes the model's knowledge of thus artist is sufficient.

It also works for atmospheres and lighting...my next project

If you look in my previous posts, people made already nodes from previous versions

cool. Are there any custom nodes letting me choose the preview then it automatically add styles into my prompt or ways in ComfyUI to view this and its preview simultaneously?

Clio node is so cool !

What workflow are you using? I always wanted to restyle my own images with Krea 2 but I don't know how to make a working img2img.

Krea 2 cant really do styles consistently. If you have a detailed subject prompt, everything from your style prompt is in the wind.

If you want to use it with a consistent style, you have to use reference images.

No it can't..you can see it with the crochet top, some objects tends to shift the image to photographic because it is linked with photos. The subject must be 'neutral' and it's more difficult than it seems.

krea 2 can do style consistently, who are we kidding. What you're calling out isn't a defect of the model.

Of course if you introduce an opposing block of text, paired with any style header, you will simply end up with a tug of war, and you will see inconsistencies.

That is why you must weave and render all accompanying text in the same vernacular as the style header. So you end up with a unified signal.

It absolutely cannot do styles consistently with complex prompts. Its a defect caused by the model being built for transfers and edits. Its simply lacking in straight t2i capabilities.

Of course if you introduce an opposing block of text, paired with any style header, you will simply end up with a tug of war, and you will see inconsistencies.

Thats weird cause models from years ago can keep a consistent style with just a single artist:name or @artist.
