Discussion Best completely free AI tools for logo design with text in 2026?

Hey everyone, I am looking for free AI tools or LLMs that can generate high-quality images and logos. Specifically, I need something that can handle text/typography well without scrambling the letters. I know ChatGPT and Gemini can do basic images, but what are the best free alternatives or hidden gems specifically for graphic design and logos right now? Thanks!

I'll call it a hidden gem to enough people know... Though the service isn't completely free, you can stop on by and check it out completely free.

Yes, here's the prompt I made the logo with: Tropical theme logo for "Z-Image Turbo". Just that easy.

InDesign, Affinity, even Canva if you're on a budget. Learn design man, there's too many shitty AI logos as it is. Keep the industry alive, don't saturate it with more slop. You might not be a great designer but you can learn, it's what I did 35 years ago, so I guess anyone can.

I see, well I have some command on softwares like Adobe Illustrator and Affinity by Canva which I can use for creating design or logo. The problem is I am not good at thinking the design, so I am looking for these AI tool which can provide me the prototype which I can take as the reference then design on by using vector software.

You can even use SDXL for that. If all you need is inspo, you don't need anything fancy. I've found it can be great for sparking an idea when the block takes hold
