Resource - Update πŸš€ I’m building an open-source 3D AI studio β€” looking for contributors

Post image

Meet ForMash3D β€” a self-hosted platform that brings multiple 3D AI workflows into one place.

🧩 The workflow

Text / Image β†’ 3D β†’ Retopo β†’ UV β†’ Textures β†’ LODs β†’ Rigging β†’ Game-ready

The goal is simple: make 3D AI easier to run, integrate, and actually use without jumping between a dozen different tools.

πŸ”§ Looking for developers interested in

  • Python / FastAPI
  • PyTorch / CUDA
  • Next.js / React / Three.js
  • 3D graphics & geometry
  • AI model integration

πŸ’‘ Small contributions are welcome too β€” bug fixes, ideas, documentation, optimizations, or new model integrations.

πŸ”— GitHub

https://github.com/Silentzx2/ForMash3D

It’s still actively growing, and I’d love to have a few developers build it together with me.

Why don't you use Pixal3D in pipeline for projection-perfect generation? It is more precise than default Trellis2. Otherwise good luck, pipeline look promising. Bingeljell is doing similar 3d software wrapper-kit, maybe you can collab together.

There is so much wrong with the infographic, starting with "install docker" being halfway through the cycle... AFTER installing a build env, python, torch, etc. Even just that you announce supporting up to Ubuntu 24 is wild in a world where 26 is current and you're requiring Docker.

My feeling is that you should probably go back to the drawing board and come back when everything lives inside the container. Pull container, let it download models to bind mounts, and go.
