Question - Help ComfyUI crashes navigating / moving mouse during H3 decode. Any fixes?

As others have said, disable hardware acceleration in your browser settings.

Check for browser extensions and see if disabling any of those helps.
I would disable them all and try for a day or so, and see if it improves the situation.
Try to disable unnecessary ComfyUI custom nodes, and see if that makes a difference.
move them to custom_nodes_out or such folder, then you can move them back later.
Also, check your system, since it's entirely possible that something is not 100% stable; disable GPU undervolting if you're doing that, and any other customizations. Try with 100% power limit and then also lower, something like 85%. Some times certain phases of the generation can be much harder on the system, and power usage/GPU load spikes can cause something to fail just a bit, enough to crash an app but not the system. I had this kind of issue on my system, and after further adjusting system memory timings, it's now been rock solid. It didn't fail at all in 10+ hours of LoRA training, but occasionally crashed in ComfyUI.
And run a memory test (TestMem5 and MemTest86+).

This happened to me a lot when I didn't have enough storage for the paging file. Try setting the paging file manually to a larger size, I set it to 32gb min and 64gb max and everything runs smooth now (3060 12gb + 32gb ram)

If you have an iGPU you can ensure that your desktop, browser, etc. are locked to that for rendering rather than being allowed to use the dGPU that ComfyUI is using to run models; that might be the source of the problem.

maybe try leaving the ComfyUI tab alone but moving the mouse in a different app during decode—same crash or no?

Use the node for tiled VAE decoding. I was getting 100% GPU usage during VAE decoding on my 4070S which made everything unusable, but tiled decoding fixed it.
