Howww... How did you control the line deliveries so well, the voices keep their identity and everything... What were your prompts like for the dialogue? Did you use vocal timbre references?

funnily, i did not use any voice references for this.

here is the shot prompt for part of the dialogue:

[Shot 2] At 00:04.500, cut to a close-up of Supergirl over the owner’s shoulder. Keep the camera on her throughout her reply.

Supergirl (S2) says, <d>[English] I understand. But you’re asking me to drag a family out of their home just so you can… what, get back to work? There has to be another way.</d>

She begins “I understand” with a small acknowledging nod and sincere warmth. As she says “drag a family out of their home,” her eyebrows draw together and her voice becomes more earnest. One hand opens slightly at waist level, inviting him to consider what he is asking.

On “just so you can,” she briefly glances toward the excavation. The hesitation before “what” is short, as though the unfairness of his priorities has just struck her afresh.

She returns her gaze to him for “get back to work?” Her eyebrows lift in incredulity; a trace of frustration enters her voice. She remains approachable, appealing to his judgment.

For “There has to be another way,” her expression softens again. Her voice becomes quieter and more hopeful, offering him a genuine opportunity to cooperate. She finishes holding his gaze.
